There are very many fun places that you can visit in the state of Ohio that it’s almost impossible to plan a single vacation there. The Buckeye State has very many beautiful cities that you can tour and enjoy on your vacation that it’s almost impossible to choose the best among them. But after visiting almost all the cities in the state in the past, I can confidently recommend Cincinnati as the best city in the whole of Ohio. This city is not only friendly and accommodating; it’s also super fun with all kinds of amazing attractions. One of the best places to visit and learn about Cincinnati OH, is Eden Park. The urban park has an art-rich museum, an award-winning regional theatre, and a plant-filled conservatory. But this is still not the top attraction in this awesome city. According to me, the Cincinnati Museum Center is the best tourist attraction in Cincinnati, OH. This one-of-a-kind, multi-museum complex is housed in Union Terminal, which is a historic Art Deco train station and National Historic Landmark. The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal features many fun amenities including three major museums, namely the Museum of Natural History & Science, the Cincinnati History Museum, and the Duke Energy Children’s Museum. You will also find the Cincinnati History Library and Archives and the Robert D. Lindner Family OMNIMAX┬« Theater in the Museum Center. Today I am going to relate my experiences in the three best museums at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.

Museum Of Natural History And Science

The Museum of Natural History & Science is the oldest predecessor institution at the Museum Center at Union Terminal in Cincinnati, OH. According to its website, the museum offers a world of science, history and nature through interactive exhibits and amazing artifacts. I had the most amazing time in this museum. You will be awed by the unique displays and the educative exhibits on show here. You will also observe live science experiments and procedures in the STEM Discovery Lab. You are encouraged to engage in creative thinking and to enhance your problem-solving skills in this museum. This museum is for the whole family with fun things to do for all ages. The Museum of Natural History & Science features Neil Armstrong’s space suit, has a resident mummy, and its home to Big Brown Bats. The museum moved Union Terminal in 1990 and today it attracts more than 1.5 million guests annually.

Cincinnati History Museum

Cincinnati History Museum is a historical and cultural hub showcasing the evolution of the host city from the days of the first settlers through the Second World War. There are costumed interpreters and guides explaining everything patiently and clearly. I had a blast viewing the whole city from above at the Cincinnati in Motion replica. I also got a chance to explore the Queen City of the West, a replica side-wheel steamboat.

Duke Energy Children’s Museum

As the name implies, Duke Energy Children’s Museum is designed for young kids. But you can also learn a thing or two as an adult. Being on vacation with my wife and two kids, this museum offered the perfect touring facility for the whole family. The museum has eight educational and themed play areas for kids of all ages. Kids get a chance to play, explore, and learn about themselves and about the world in this museum. Make sure to visit The Woods, the Energy Zone, and Kids’ Town.
